Purchase additional AI tokens as one-time top-up packs when your monthly allowance runs out. Tokens are used for AI Compose, AI Summarize, AI Translate, Smart Replies, AI Chatbot, and other AI features. Token packs come in multiple sizes at different price points. Purchased tokens carry over until used — they don't expire at the end of the month. Some coupon codes include bonus tokens with plan purchases. Available on all plans including the Spun Chat free tier. When an AI feature is paused because tokens ran out, a notice shows what paused, that WhatsApp messaging keeps working, the balance and the reset date: admins get equal-weight "Upgrade plan" and "Buy tokens" paths into Plan & Usage (a TRIAL account's admin instead gets a single "Upgrade plan" path with the measured trial burn - top-up packs are never sold to trials), and a regular member gets a one-click "Ask an admin to add tokens" that notifies the organization's managers (once per line per day), and the member then sees "Request sent". If work in progress finished after the balance ran out, the notice explains that added tokens settle that overage first.

Continuity (admin-only, per line): instead of AI pausing at the end of the allowance, an admin can turn on Continuity on Plan & Usage - three separate switches: (1) keep AI working after the included tokens run out, (2) optionally buy tokens automatically (the smallest pack that covers the shortfall, charged to the saved card, Stripe emails a receipt per charge), and (3) a required monthly spending ceiling in USD (default $50) that continuity spending never crosses. With automatic purchase off, the balance simply runs negative and later top-ups settle the overage first. The balance shown is always the real balance - there is no hidden grace. Plan & Usage shows a "Spent via continuity this month" counter, a confirmation email goes to managers on every enable/change/disable and the first time continuity kicks in each month, and turning it off is one click. When the monthly ceiling is reached, AI pauses with a message that names the cap (not "out of tokens") until the period resets, the admin raises the cap, or tokens are added. Members and shared-inbox guests never see or change continuity settings.

How to use

1. Go to Settings → Plan & Usage.
2. View your remaining tokens and usage breakdown.
3. Admins: click "Add Tokens" to see available packs.
4. Select a pack size and complete the purchase.
5. Tokens are added to your balance immediately. Purchases are admin-only and available in the web app (not iOS).
6. Members who hit the token wall can click "Ask an admin to add tokens" in the paused-feature notice instead of purchasing.
7. Admins who never want AI to stop: open the Continuity card on Plan & Usage, read the disclosure, set the monthly ceiling (and optionally automatic purchase), and confirm - turn it off anytime with one click.
